This first visit on Orkney Island is a bet to stay alive and to celebrate our ten years wedding anniversary with my wife Francine.

These pictures tell the story of a rebirth : That's the reason of my victory posture. Many meetings starts from this first journey in Islands first, then Highlands.

Orkney Islands wasn't a chance choice : that's the choice of a one meeting. Perhaps the meeting of my life after my soldier's breakdown.

Francine is in the shade of every pictures as like a miracle of love freezing time and space for bringing again to life her little broken corporal.
